Position Summary

As Director of Nursing (DON) , you will be responsible for the overall quality clinical outcomes of the community. Priority one will be quality care, customer service and employee relations. In addition, regulatory management,  attracting and retaining top performing talented team members as well as the supervision and career coaching of existing team members on staff.

 

We are looking for an experience Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our facility’s care-giving team. The successful DON will be responsible for managing all aspects of nursing  care for the  community. Must  value safety, security and patient wellness above all else. We strive to provide the best care possible while ensuring patient satisfaction in every interaction. The Director of Nursing is responsible for making sure those values are reflected in their staff at all times.

Posted Salary Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Champion the development and enhancement of nursing practices, philosophy, and standards to deliver exceptional care to all patients/residents.
  • Oversee the implementation of a patient/resident care planning process that aligns with individual needs, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • We are seeking a dynamic individual who excels in communication, leadership, and motivation.
  • Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
  • Passionate about enriching the lives of both residents and staff members.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a dedicated Director of Nursing (DON) in long-term care with a proven track record of stable leadership.
  • RN (Registered Nurse) in state of residency, BSN a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee and community relationships.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer skills coupled with the ability and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures.
  • Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care homes.
  • Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required.
